National Society of Professional Engineers

Read the National Society of Professional Engineers: Code of Ethics for Engineers and the

following ethics case study. Based on the code of ethics and your own independent

analysis and consideration, answer the following questions:

a. Which, if any, of the elements of the code of ethics were or may have been violated by

the scenario’s principal actors? State each of those rules of practice or professional

obligation by number and summary content, and indicate how it applies to the situation

at hand.

b. What actions should have been taken? Again, state the elements (by number and

summary content) of the code of ethics that command or suggest to take those actions.

Tips for Topic 2 assignment: Market vs. Social Justice Presentation

Create at least 5 slides:

Slide 1: Title page with your name, title of presentation, date, title of class

Slide 2: Define market justice

Slide 3: Define Social justice

Slide 4: Describe the differences between market and social justice

Slide 5: Take a stand on which one you agree with and why

Slide 6: Conclusion

Slide 7: Reference page in APA format

Under each slide you will notice a blank space, this is where you add your notes so I know what you would be saying about each bullet point on your slide. Refer to this link if you don’t know how to add notes to your power point presentation:

I think it is actually pretty funny that the topic of warning came up this week, well a funny coincidence at the least. I live in the state of Georgia, and this past week the Georgia Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency (Georgia EM&HS) pushed out a statewide radiological hazard alert, warning everyone to locate their nearest fallout shelter immediately. Interestingly enough, people immediately took to social media with photos and screenshots of the warning, some frantically, asking if it was real and if there was actually a cause for concern. Personally, I was slightly concerned because there is a nuclear power plant not too far from my house. Later in the day, Georgia EM&HS reached out on Twitter, indicating that it was only a test, and that there was no radiological emergency. As you can imagine, a lot of people were angry that the word “test” never actually appeared in any of the warnings.

Not only people, but local state government agencies as well. Many agencies, especially those that run some of our critical infrastructure, have procedures and protocols in place to protect our CIKR in the event of a radiological emergency. In fact, DHS offers a five-day course called Radiological Emergency Response Operations (RERO PER-904), based along the guidelines set out by FEMA’s Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program, the EPA Manual, the Protective Action Guides and Protective Actions for Nuclear Incidents, and other federal regulations.

So what could the consequences had been had our CIKR started radiological emergency procedures? Could there have been emergency shutdown of some of our resources in order to save them from the threat? This would obviously pose more danger to everyone in the state. It seems they could have very easily endangered quite a few people with this mistake. I guess that is another part of warnings and test warnings, the importance of clarification and quality control. Always have someone QC!

Climate Change Response, science homework help

Some people you know say they don’t believe that the climate is changing. After completing this week’s readings, how would you respond?

Write a 525- to 700-word response including:

  • How scientists learn about past global temperatures and climates
  • The greenhouse effect
  • Greenhouse gases and their role in current climate change
  • One piece of data scientists offer to show that the climate is changing globally
  • Expected impacts of climate change in your area

research about manufacturing design

Hello, I need someone to do a research about any topic related to design process, or manufacturing process. My professor asked to do a research, so I can present it after 2 days.

The research paper has no instructions, but he wants it in APA style

number of pages doesn’t matter (3 minimum) as long as it contains all the information about a specific topic of design process.

In addition, the paper has to be involved some technical diagrams.

I attached the first paper , you can work on it
the literature review will include structure BIM tools and BIM tools and interoperability between architectural and structural design via use them
models

first paper

Attached second one

  • 2016_Improving_interoperability_between_architectural_and_structural_design.pdf
  • I would like to confirm you that the literature review will include main object about structure BIM tools and BIM tools and interoperability between architectural and structural programs design via use structure BIM(calling S-BIM) tools and BIM (like revit,autcad,sap2000,Etabs , safe and tekla BIM)
  • The programs above have BIM or S-BIM tools ,we can use between then but there are problems

Important Note: Please ask for anymore description/attachments/class notes/materials if you are not very comfortable with the topic. Also, please ask for deadline extension well in advance, if you feel that you are not able to complete the order on time.

Strength and Weakness and Elevator Pitch

  1. Complete the Skills Matcher Assessment to identify your strengths and areas for development.
  2. In a Word document, write 2-3 paragraphs about 3 strengths and 1 area for development (weakness). Be sure to answer how your strengths add value as a candidate in your chosen field, and describe how you will work to improve upon your area for development.
  3. Close out your paper with a well-written elevator pitch highlighting qualities that will help you stand out as professional in your field.

Nursing Discussion Question

Use the image Chest X-Ray(Attached), to answer the following Critical Thinking Questions.

Examine the x-ray of a patient diagnosed with pneumonia due to infection with Mucor. Refer to the Chest X-ray in order to complete the following questions.

Critical Thinking Questions

  1. Explain what Mucor is and how a patient is likely to become infected with Mucor. Describe the pathophysiologic progression of the infection into pneumonia and at least two medical/nursing interventions that would be helpful in treating the patient.
  2. Examine the laboratory blood test results and arterial blood gases provided in Laboratory Blood Test Results(Attached), What laboratory values are considered abnormal? Explain each abnormality and discuss the probable causes from a pathophysiologic perspective.
  3. What medications and medical treatments are likely to be prescribed by the attending physician on this case? List at least three medications and three treatments. Provide rationale for each of the medications and treatments you suggest.

Identify Problems and Provide Quality Care

Mrs. C is a 45-year-old Hispanic single mother of three children, a girl of thirteen years and two boys of ages nine and six. She has recently divorced her husband. She was diagnosed with colon cancer six months ago and is scheduled to have a bowel resection in three weeks.

Mrs. C. is also responsible for taking care of her disabled sister who also has a boy of ten years of age.

Her mother is hospitalized due to a recent stroke and is an insulin-dependent diabetic. She also has Alzheimer’s disease.

Mrs. C.’s former husband lives in the same community. He provides minimal child support and takes the children every other weekend.

Mrs. C does not have health insurance because she works part-time at a local grocery store.

She tells you she does not know how she will pay for her surgery and is worried about the outcome and the care of her family.

  • What socioecomonic and health system factors are influencing this situation?
  • What stressors are probably affecting this family?
  • What nursing interventions might you employ to assist this family? How can community resources be a potential help?
