What is meant by the statement “You get what you measure!”?

In your post this week, answer the following:

What is meant by the statement “You get what you measure!”?

How might this concept apply to management decision making and ethics?

For your second post this week address two of the following ethical scenarios:

  1. A purchasing agent is negotiating with two suppliers XX and YY. The agent tells supplier XX the bid price offered by supplier YY in an effort to get XX to lower its bid.
  2. An employee is running for office in a local election and distributes materials supporting the campaign via company email.
  3. A purchasing agent for a restaurant accepts samples of various food items from a supplier.
  4. An employee writes an anonymous blog on her experience at her place of employment that provides insights into the company’s strategy for success.

In addition, comment on a peer’s remarks about one of the scenarios you did not address.

Be sure to use information in your text about the framework for ethical decision making and the IMA code of ethics.

Please make your initial post by midweek, and respond to at least one other student’s post by the end of the week. Please check the Course Calendar for specific due dates.
