Globalization paper

Can you write this paper for me and have it done by next tuesday? Here are the guidelines.. Please advise

Prepare a four-page double-spaced article which might be published in a school newspaper or church magazine, challenging readers to make lifestyle changes on behalf of the poor in the United States and overseas. The following process is suggested:

a. Review the textbook, For They Shall Be Fed, selecting a key passage or passages, as rationale for why the readers should get involved.

b. Draw on information from Exploring World Mission and other sources to describe the need or needs to be met. (Remember that this is to be a different need than what your project team dealt with.) Demonstrate the scope of that particular need in the United States and in other countries.

c. Suggest and/or advocate some lifestyle changes which will make it possible for the readers to free up resources to meet the needs described.

d. Suggest some agencies or organizations which do what you are advocating, so the readers can know what to do with the resources available.

Research Methods Assignment

In Part One, I want you to answer the following:

1. What is the hypothesis for study one? Please give me both the null and alternative hypotheses when you answer this question

2. What is the independent variable(s) for study one? Make sure you tell me how many IVs there are and how many levels there are for each IV

3. What is the dependent variable(s) for study one? Note: there are several of these, so focus on the ones the author analyzed.

4. What did they find in study one? Give the general outcome

5. What is the hypothesis for study two? Please give me both the null and alternative hypotheses when you answer this question

6. What is the independent variable(s) for study two? Make sure you tell me how many IVs there are and how many levels there are for each IV

7. What is the dependent variable(s) for study two? Note: there are several of these, so focus on the ones the author analyzed.

8. What did they find in study two? Give the general outcome

9. I want you to review the references and spot the reference(s) that is (are) not in APA format and rewrite it for me according to APA rules. Note: there may be as few as zero and as many as ten incorrect references, so make sure to look at them all!

In Part Two:

Write an abstract for the paper! This should be fairly easy, as you can paraphrase the information from Part One. However, this time you need to write it in one short paragraph (150 to 200 word maximum!). Note: there are two studies, and you have to mention both. Yes, this is tough, but authors often summarize (in the same short abstract) papers that they wrote that may include six or seven different studies! My suggestion is to find the overlap between both studies and discuss both simultaneously. For example, “Both studies looked at X, but study two also examined Y.” Make sure your abstract starts at the top of its own page (it should be all on its own). Your abstract should include the following:

1. Include the word “Abstract” at the top of your abstract

2. Identify the general problem or research question (the hypotheses) for both studies.

3. Note the participants for both studies

4. Note the IVs and DVs for the studies

5. Note the findings for both studies

6. Note the overall conclusions / implications of the two studies

7. Please include keywords for the study (at least 5 keywords or phrases – these are not included in the total word count)

power point psychology for sensory and perceptual systems in the human body

Assignment 1: LASA II—Disorders of Sensory and Perceptual Systems

Throughout this course, you have looked at all of the sensory and perceptual systems in the human body. One subject not discussed to a large degree is disorders of the sensory and perceptual systems.

Using the module readings, the Argosy University online library resources, and the Internet, research sensation and perception disorders. Based on your research, do the following:Imagine you are teaching your peers about the disorders of the sensory and perceptual systems.Select one sensation or perception disorder (such as sensory processing disorder, anosmia, apperceptive visual agnosia, glaucoma, verbal auditory agnosia, or developmental dyslexia resulting from auditory processing deficit).Using at least two peer-reviewed journal articles discussing the disorder you have selected, develop a presentation to provide an overview of the disorder. Explain the following points in the presentation:Sensory system affected by the disorder—including the specific physiological structures that are affectedPerceptual processing affected by the disorderAnalysis of the disorder from both top-down and bottom-up perspectivesThe more appropriate approach for viewing this disorder—top-down or bottom-upEtiology of the disorderCoping strategies and treatment, if anyRelated and/or co-occurring disordersPsychological impact of the disorder (outside of the perceptual deficit)Be sure to include the following in your presentation:A title slideHeadingsA slide with referencesDetailed speaker notes to accompany each slide to further discuss the topics

Develop an 8–10-slide presentation in PowerPoint format. Apply APA standards to citation of sources.

Self- Care Paper

In a paper titled “My Self-Care Plan” create six level 2 headings using the six categories of Cognitive, Behavioral, Affective, Physical, Social, and Spiritual, and  outline  with bullets a personal self-care and stress management plan that would help you avoid burnout, compassion fatigue, and ministry stagnation. Utilize the materials used throughout the course to help support your thoughts and ideas. Don’t only think of what you can/should do, also think of things that you could/should cease doing.

I’m not interested in seeing APA style here, nor am I interested in you citing your textbook in the bullets; however, I do want to see evidence that you apply concepts from this course and have read and are following the course textbook and  pdf documents and resources given. If there are outside websites or sources that can give you guidance or direction in your implementation process, feel free to use them.

Forgiveness : As part of your self-care plan under the spiritual category, consider the idea of forgiveness and how it may be implemented as part of your self-care plan. Listed below are links related to forgiveness models that involve various steps and/or processes. When considering the idea of forgiveness, many perceive this as something that takes time especially if there has been a series of events that can lead to a crisis moment such as a crisis of faith (just to name one example).  As part of the healing process showing empathy as noted in the above models may be helpful. Consider when Christ was on the cross during his crisis he showed compassion for others asking God on the behalf of others to forgive them. The forgiveness portion of the paper will have a heavier weight of the grade.

Read this long informative paper on Forgiveness and incorporate concepts from this paper into the Spiritual category of your Self-Care plan.

To recap your assignment:  In a paper titled “My Self-Care Plan” create six level 2 headings using the six categories of Cognitive, Behavioral, Affective, Physical, Social, and Spiritual,  and  outline  with bullets a personal self-care and stress management plan that would help you (personally, not generally) avoid burnout, compassion fatigue, and ministry stagnation. The Spiritual category should be the longest as it will incorporate the forgiveness concepts. This could be a paper of up to 4-6 pages to include your APA-formatted title page. No need to include citations with the bullet points, but list references at the very end from which you culled your materials.

Please make sure your name and page numbers are embedded in the header of each page (see the APA hints).  Submit the paper using the “Self-Care Plan” submission link in the Papers & Quiz tab

Diversity in Recruitment

Assignment 1: Diversity in Recruitment

Most, if not all, companies have a diversity policy pertaining to recruitment. Legal requirements also tend to dictate how an organization approaches diversity in recruitment.

In this module, use the Argosy University online library resources and the Internet to conduct research on the use and effectiveness of diversity policies in organizational recruitment efforts. Choose a company from the Internet or use a company that you currently work with or have previously worked with and answer the following questions:

· How does the diversity policy address Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations?

· What other standards are used?

· What information is collected during the recruitment and application process to ensure compliance?

· How could the policy be improved?

· Did you read any information that surprised you? If so, what was it?

Submission Details:

· By the due date assigned, post your responses to this Discussion Area.

· Through the end of the module, respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts. Your response should rely on at least two sources from additional professional literature—articles from peer-reviewed journals and relevant textbooks. Write in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources (i.e., APA); and use accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

The humanistic theories help to understand how to apply certain psychological theories that are presented in a way that emphasizes human nature as good with the potential to always improve.” The humanistic therapist accompanies/guides clients to free themselves from assumptions and positions that might be blocking them from living fuller lives” (CCPE, Psychological and Educational Services, 2018). In other words, allowing for affirmation of small successes when there are positive behavioral changes that increase self-confidence or active self-actualization. Humanistic Psychology looks at the whole person, not just the behavior that needs to change.

The existentialist theory works from a different angle, but with the same goals. “The existentialist, on the other hand, is more interested in guiding/accompanying clients to find philosophical meaning while they face anxiety” (CCPE, Psychological and Educational Services, 2018). This approach is more in helping a client make decisions and guiding that thought process and giving them the tools, they might need and also walking beside them as they complete said tasks.  The humanistic is guiding but does not present ideas to the client.

In understanding these theories, I know I apply the humanistic approach. As a Life Coach, I practice this every day. I guide my conversations by what my client wants, and I ask curiosity questions on how they want to go about their next steps by creating measurable goals that are realistic and attainable. These goals are designed, implemented and met by the client’s own drive and their discovery of their own potential.

In selecting a theorist, I would have to select Erikson. As a former parenting coach and implementing and facilitating with a curriculum that was based on Erikson’s and Piaget’s theories, they offer a very significant insight into behavior. In understanding how the foundations of learning are shaped by early social learning for future adult behaviors. Works Cited

Carl Rogers was an influential psychologist who had the opposite views as Freud (Lecci & Magnavita, 2013). Many of his concepts and theories were significantly impacted by his religious beliefs and background as a pastor (Lecci & Magnavita, 2013). I selected Carl Rogers because I can relate to his religious background because I have a similar one and I also agree with many of his ideas. I find it easier to learn and understand someone’s concepts when I can agree with them. One such concept is Roger’s idea that people are good at their core and bad behavior only occurs from conditioning negative behavior (Lecci & Magnavita, 2013). He also created his own terms for the idea of protecting yourself from any perceived threat as denial, which can be compared to Freud’s defense mechanisms behavior (Lecci & Magnavita, 2013). Many historical and modern psychologist build upon other psychologist’s theories to better them or create more specific versions of the original theory. “Theorist who reclaimed the ‘self’ as the focus of investigating human personality initiated a movement, which can be referred to as humanism-existentialism” (Lecci & Magnavita, p 9.1 2013). The humanist movement focused on the idea of self-actualization (Lecci & Magnavita, 2013). “Self-actualization can be defined as the goal-directed behavior of an individual toward achieving one’s potential” (Lecci & Magnavita,p.9, 2013). Some individuals lack the ability to self-actualize and as future counselors, we can assist them in creating goals to help them achieve more out of life. Also, the existentialists believe that aversive emotional experiences that happen are a result of our awareness of free will or choice (Lecci & Magnavita, 2013). Both humanistic and existential theories are valid theories in which individuals can assess personalities.

What theorist did you choose and did you connect with their beliefs or opinions as well?
